Drawing inspiration from Junichiro Tanizaki's "In Praise of Shadows", these images showcase the allure of shadows in Paris. While shadows are often perceived negatively, they hold significant value.
The mirror's reflection becomes a luminous shadow, a secondary reality veiled behind our everyday lives. This void reveals a world akin to "MA," the Japanese concept of emptiness filled with the unseen.
Simultaneously, these images serve as self-portraits of the artist, blending into the environment as camouflage, a biological adaptation to thrive and survive in Paris.
