The virtual image reflected in the mirror is both there and not there. The world reflected in this mirror becomes camouflaged with images of snow, blending into the photographs.
This installation raises questions about the dimensions of flatness and solidity, the boundaries between existence and non-existence, or the nature of the world itself. It also attempts to visualize another invisible dimension, by giving another depth to the transition from three-dimensional images brought about by photography to the two-dimensional, thus moving back and forth between the two-dimensional and three-dimensional images.
