KIWAMARI NO AIDA / 2019
Trio exhibition: Onchi, Tokyo, Japan
i - Quintette
Photo installation on the wall with natural light and shadow
Ink Jet Print on Photo Paper / 700 x 1000 mm
Our perception extends to capture intangible phenomena as though they were real. This camouflaged photography, exhibited on the wall, functions as a visual symphony, interacting with overlaid light and shadow that dance with the sunlight and wind. These subtle and ordinary interactions between the 2D image and the 3D world unveil an additional dimension within us, create harmony with space, time, and nature.
ii - Here but not there
Photo installation in situ, in the Onchi space
Ink Jet Print on Photo Paper, Photographic sculpture with found object (clothes prop) / 1000 x 700mm
Ink Jet Print on Photo Paper, Photographic sculpture with found object (bucket) / 1000 x 700mm
Inspired by the found objects on the site, this installation transforms relics into art, blending them seamlessly with photography to create an immersive experience. It seeks to bridge the gap between past and present, revealing the memories and emotions woven into the fabric of time and space. Through photography, we not only see but also share the intangible, making the invisible visible.
